Hi all,
I finally got around to posting on here. I saw some of you at the storybridge show, I was meant to have my chop next door at the Choppers Australia but coudn't cos' me cleft hand carb fell off.....Bugger!

I'm a yorkie from pommieland, been here about a year and REALLY miss the easy customisation laws of the motherland :-(( But I'd never ever go back as this IS the best place on earth!

Prevoiusly had the following rat/streetfightered bikes:-

FZR1000RU:
This was the old "men and motors" stunt bike from the UK, an absolute ANIMAL! exup valve wide open all the time she ran like a two stroke ;)
Z750:
early look fighter done up with Raask rearsets, clipons, k&n's drag cam (with flowed head), dyna ignition......very revvy bike and VERY hard to ride due to the cam but on the motorway it would destroy most 1200's....made the pipes glow cherry though!

Z650 ratfighter:
Laser 4:1 pipe, raasks, laverda jota bars, diamond plate seat, no rear subframe.

Also had CB125J, VT500, XLH1100, 3 FJ1200's, 350 bullet, GSX750ET, TR6p Triumph, 5T triumph, CBX550 chop (crap!), GS650G Katana, GS1000, Z1100ST (great bike),

Currently I have a GT750 Kwack thats about to be fightered and a 1966 Triumph T120R hardtail chop that keeps leaving important bits on the road :-(

I look forward to laughing with ya!

I was only there for a bit but had a black and red jacket on with "chargers" written on the back.

Funny thing about that day is that the tall bike cop to the left with no idea about bike law pulled me over (I was actually broken down fixing my carbys) the day before the show. The discussion went something like this:-

COP: THAT MOTORCYCLE SHOULD NOT BE ON THE ROAD!!
ME: (lloking up with float bowl needle in mouth and tools all over the road) Why!?
COP: IT HAS NO INDICATORS!
ME: 1966 Triumphs dont have indicators, they are also pre'71 ADR compliance which means they dont have to comply to any ADR rules from that or subsequent years whatsoever
COP: It looks unsafe
ME: How does paint and appearance alter the safety of a motorcycle sir?

He continued to pick out every legal point of the bike as a legitimate RWC issue; to which I argued the exact reason it was not an issue to the letter of the law. Then he totally failed to mention the two items that are questionable.......it's laughable!!

But.....NO TICKET! so thats cool!
