Me and the Mrs are thinking about taking an overseas holiday sometime between 1st July and the end of September next year. We have never traveled overseas before. Im thinking maybe the USA for a couple of weeks. Maybe hire a campervan or a hire car and travel around the west coast and south a bit (that should read...go to as many dragbike events as possible, she is a lucky girl) Anyway any advice on who to fly with or where to go or campervan/car hire would be great. Maybe someone does a flight/campervan package?

Have fun and take a shit load of pics.

Maybe you could ease into this gradually, say with a weekend getaway to tassie, or Stradbroke.

Shayne.

After you've decided when you want to go, First stop is the travel agents to find out what rules apply and things like cheap days to fly, whether the season changes a week later (high-shoulder etc) and what freebies youu can get, like maybe acoupla nights in an LA hotel.

Then you check out one of the airticket sites and see if you can do better

i wouldn't bother with a camper, hotels and motels are cheap as... We're going to laguna seca and the X-games next year ( went to laguna last year & saw our guy's clean up )
