K I've just finished my bike, I've stopped the fuel leak...still a minor oil leak but nothing I can't fix. SO it was time for rego. Went down to my local mechanic and had about 5 blokes walking round the bike checking out its sexiness. All thumbs up except they thought the ass was too high..pics to follow.
ANyway the noticed there was no ignition..."Ah ha! I have keyless".
"Oh let us see, its not in gear is it?"
No all fine. So I start it up only for it to move forward and topple over...fantastic!
Damage is only minor, broken mirror, clutch lever and minor scratch in the casing.
Still for my efforts they gave me my pink slip and a good laugh as I rode off. Great form!
Back to the Garage it is.

Ha. We have often joked about that happening! I guess you disconnected your gear sensor then mate? Bugger hey? Photos are required mate.

Found the problem, I put a bolt straight through the side stand wires. Automatic connection, automatic-ass-of-myself...

I might be joining you in the luck stakes there mate.
ive just done the obligatory finish off the tyre burnout and heard a new high speed engine rattle!
It makes a lovely rattle sound like a rod end fucked up so i shut it down.
Farking bike only had to last four more days before i start my new job too.
Anyone got a spare cbr 1000f engine or ever a late model cb1000 efi type engine?
