Found a colour for it too - Passion Red (or Red Passion) a Holden colour. Changes from dark burgundy in shadow to bright metallic dark red in the sun.

I had a vision of massive beefy billet clamps with the boxy riser setup and lots and lots of bolts.

I am looking for actual bolt up to the ten information. The guys on (http://www.customfighters.com) told me it was do-able with a VFR750. THey got pics of your stuff posted up there. I asked Ben about that and it wasn't too hard to do, but the VFR arm needs a little bit of trimming each side. Problem is he can't say "trim 5mm off this side" because it depends on what rear wheel you're running as to whether the arm needs to be offset to one side a bit. So you'll need your wheel and arm to find the centreline first.

Also if you search for the "Venom" build thread by Exben, there were more details there about fitting the arm (to a TL)

Been working on the seat unit. It looks too bulky in the pics, but still needs a lot of shaping and sanding down.

The rear of the bike is up on a stand... Is there too much angle on it? and if so, which line on the tank am I supposed to follow?

I think Ice is right although the line with the bottom of the subframe must be kept.. So it'll be alot of re-working ... Why dont you chock up the front wheel to get the bike level so you know where your at??? Another thing , are you going to lose the pillion peg mounts ? that would make it such a nicer line..

fimpBIKES
16-04-2008, 06:38 AM
