Yeah we ran an update on that bike - evidently it's not too heavy to be a real weapon 'cause it won the le Touquet holeshot...

I should get off my arse, get up to Sydney and run a proper story and interview on EXBEN and all the brilliant work he does - in the meanwhile, if there's any special bikes down here in Melb I'm happy to run a little feature on TBG if you're willing to spend some time talking the bike over with me. Get in touch on loz at gizmagdotcom.

that R1 looks like a large red PW50

Does anyone remember what mag ran the article on the guy who went up to the top end of Australia on his GSXR750 with the dirtbike suspension? Half the price of his mates BMW GS 1150 and twice as quick.

Yeah that story was in "performance streetbike" the guy was from Ballarat if I recall correctly. That is what I was gonna do with the '05 gixxer thou in my shed, but lack of funds means that bike is for sale at moment:(

I raced my blade fighter on our local mx track in a 3 lap race at a fun day once, awesome rooster tails but it didn't like the cornering much. I did all the jumps except one & the most "air" I got was about 3 feet up & 15 feet long om a tabletop. The only damage I did was a few scratches from rocks thrown up & one fork seal started leaking afterwards. Sure got the mx boys talking & it still gets mentioned to me these days (it was 4 years ago)
