I know everyone has the shits with the price of fuel but what are other countries paying per litre? I had a mate come back from Bali a week ago and he reckons unleaded there is around 45c AU per litre.

I pay 69 cents a litre on lpg for my ute.
Its almost cheaper to drive that to work then it is to ride the DRZ to work... theres about $5 a fort night difference...
What shits me is diesel prices - any advantage is fucken goooone there.

i filled up my brand new ford ranger ute with diesel tonight cost95bucks i was talking to my young brother back in manchester also tonight petrols running at 1.12 a litre[$2.57] and deisel is 1.32[$3.03]
theyll be more scooters in the urban areas ridden by yuppies and bikes will be taken a bit more seriously [it happened in london 5 yrs ago a massive jump in bike sales after the congestion charge and petrol hit 90p a litre ] also peugout were offering a free scooter with every brand new 306 bought
'course the accident figures will go up and as we all know thatll be a bummer for all of us knee jerk legislation and all that

Back home was about $1.90AU when I left. No idea since.

In europe in general it's more expensive, but the way the prices have been going up here.... and I've also heard someone mention possibly $3.00...... Ouch....

Benz

I paid 1.98au/lt for premium 98 a coupla days ago, put 20.00 bux worth in, and didn't even come close to filling the gpz's tank........... I wanted to argue the cost with the console operator, but unfortunately he had insufficient brain cells to communicate, being pimply and about 18......... and obviously working for peanuts. Yeah, No, maybe, dunno......
The same fuel was 12 cents a litre less a week ago.

benz, it wont do a thing to argue with the person at the counter, they cant do a thing about it, they arent able to change the price in the computer, its all done through a network.. my misses worked in a station, all's they do is take ur money and change the signs when they get the updates or whatever u wanna call them through the network..

Isn't the silence deafening when it comes to anyone mentioning the two wheeled variety of transport to ease the situation. Isn't this how the poms made heaps of sidecars after the war because nobody could afford a car or the fuel. AHHH bring on the Road Warrior. I drive an FJ75 with a chev on LPG as my work car and i might burn more gas but i am just as cheap as the diesels and on a long run if you travel over 100k's an hour with the diesels Fuck do they burn juice.I drive the FJ, well, sort of like a commodore foot buried.

Jockney Rebel

^ you wont get any recognition till the very people who hate bikes have to get on a scooter and commute cos they cant park or the gas is way too dear or the congestion means the ave speed drops to 9kph

Weaselman
20-06-2008, 06:21 PM
Well anyone in the transport game knows that your not surprissed when you see the bowser click past 1000 dollars when filling up.

My aerodyne Kenworth will take just over 2 grand to fill

There was nothing worse than waiting for the hi-flow diesel while the bloke in the b-double filled all the tanks.

Cost me $120 just to fill up my XR6 ute the other day, I drive to Sydney and back twice every second weekend if I was not salary sacrificing I'd be fucked.

put $50 in the falcon and only 2/3 filled and $19 in bike for 3/4 tank what shit . They are also saying for us to get cheeper fuel that the chinese and europe need to make their prices go up so that the demand is higher as they are the biggest consumers and if that happens everyone around world may get a small reprieve

Lucky bastard. I think i heard some where that brazil were being charged about the same as us so the gov't told opec to get fucked and started producing thier own instead of exporting it. now they're back at 40c per litre. not sure of the truth in that but sounds like a good fucking idea to me.
