gday folks, been a while since ive been on here, caught up with a few of you on the fools run, and ive got to say. it was a well run event , full kudos to those who ran it.

anyways, finishing off the sv... got a new project on the go too... 1997 TL1000s. hunting for 07 gix750 wheels and front end atm, already fitted an ohlins rear shock and a full akra twin 50mm system. loving the bike, heaps of fun.

im engaged these days, and a kid on the way, so really keen to finish the tl before it all happens.

Welcome back Sport, first I knew about you canning the Widowmaker project was when I saw it in Warhound Mark's garage ! [:0]
You'll have a ball on the TL mate, 'specially with the rear Ohlins unit (BIG difference) mine was the most fun bike I've ever owned (how easy are the wheelies?). [:p]

hey boh, yeah will be riding tomorrow morning, prolly only half day run tomorrow. as im building my enclosed bike trailer still.

TK. yeah the tl is a fucking hoot! its a little more fat then the sv (about 25kg more!) but im planning on shedding 15kg from it and adding 60hp to it, so it'll be better then the sv by a long a shot.
the tl is a weapon still.... so much drive out of corners, and like you say.. spastic wheel stands in 1/2 without a fuss (well its a big fuss for me, i shit meself every time the front comes up!)

done the tre and the airbox mods now... def an improvemnt felt.. but now a bmc filter and a PCIII USB is need to sort the fuelling.

i'll be putting the sv up on the market to pay for the tl's extensive mods lists thats on the cards (ya know, 07 gix parts, boost.. the usual shit)

chasing $6000 for the sv. but only once its finished off. paint and seat need to be finished. new tyres, timing chain and tentioners etc blah blah...price is neg. of course.
