G'day all, name's Mitch. Just picked myself up this:
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/105756146293141.jpg

98 ZX-6R F-series. ABM top triple and risers, Renthal Fat Bar, Buell XB12 Lightning headlights and screen, CF RS3 can. It's my upgrade from my 2fiddy Bandit. Can't really comment on performance as it's having a few issues with it running rich. (Have started a thread here: http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10897 if you can help it would be appreciated)

Anyway, hello, and I will be seeing you all around the forum.

Yeah, in Canberra, North Lyneham. And since I managed to put the Bandit into a ditch near Goulburn, yeah, it's a bit better.

I've only spotted one or two around the place, but this was a good find, with the triple and bars done, as well as the headlight.

Good score mate, if I ever get my bike registered again (and it gets over five degrees) we should go for a spin.

BTW am I just getting old or are these fireworks annoying the fuck out of everyone else?

I'm at work but I'm about to squirt down to deep, dark Gordon, haven't heard any crackers yet but I'm sure they'll piss me off.

I almost washed out on the big round-a-bout on drakeford drive this morning. Fucking slippery icey shit.

welcome mitch, think your rich problem comes from missing the small ram air hose that normaly sits in the centre of the fairing, not a big hose about the size of your thumb. good luck

Yeah, it was the float pressurisation tube that was causing the issue. Drilled a hole in the airbox and stuck it in there, and now she goes pretty well. Still running rich, but tit's not so bad, just a slight hesitation on to throttle, and a nice burble on overrun.

Thats not a sign of running well put it back up front with a small funel on the end and heypresto.

On the wifes zzr6 I modified the smaller carb pressurisation tubes with plastic bends so that there is one tube inside each large intake instead of 2 into 1 in the fairing as standard.
