Here's the full details I got from Wayne:


I would like to sale my Suzuki DR800 streefighter.
price $4000.00 ono.
the engine is a Standard DR 800. With 35mm twin carbs
the frame is a chromed DR 750.
the Tank seat and side covers are Yamaha XT. customed
the front forks are white power extreme.
exhurst is a full S/steel system.
Ducati wheels and brembo brakes.
KTM front Guard and Mirrors.
digital speedo
acrobis head and talls
the bike has 10 months Victorian Rego and Rwc.

ive been speaking to wayne. im gonna check this one out.

she will be mighty heavy and not particularily fast, but looks like fun.

any suggestions guys? 800 single turbo?

yeah apparently the engine itself weighs like 82kg ... thats as much as some cars

sure fits my requirement of something differnt though and should be fun.

i reckon.

its one hell of a big cylinder going up and down. correct my if im wrong but i think i read somewhere
the 800 is the biggest cylender displacement of any mass produced single.

its in my garage now. few little bits to fix up, then comes the mods...stay tuned

That's a flash bike Slick, I like it a lot. [8D] Make sure you use Loctite on all the nuts & bolts though ;)
What are you planning for it?

first i have to sort out the carbie / fueling problems.

fuel running out of carb overflow when siting,idling or running. and lack of top end (alot more than it should be :P) / hesitation / backfire.
have the carbies out atm..i might chuck up another thread for this

mods i reckon: black out some bits, proper digital dash (to replace faulty stock ones and bicycle speedo), remove some stickers, shorty leavers, maybe mirrors...any more will have to come in time with some inspiration.

lol. bike is going alot better now that ive sorted the floats and main jets out. just some fine tuning to go hopefully

dont know about a turbo though, seems like a decent challenge. but i like the whole unnescissary nature of it :P
