View Full Version : newbie, NSW, GPz750 '82
hey guys, so i got my semi-dream bike (apart from the triumph) is an older eddie lawson styled kwaka, cue my recent poor week after buying a 1982 air cooled kwaka GPz750 in pretty good condition save a few parts.
(ps. also im a postie) damn it doesnt hide it! :'(
planning on fully rebuilding and going SLIGHTLY streetfighter, mixed with a bit of cafe (anyone here actually into the cafe scene? i prefer it over alot of the extreme arse ends on some fighters)
full engine rebuild coming soon, only mods at the moment are a 4-1 system with shorty pipe near rear wheel. would love a nice bellypan though and a custom paint job.
so far thinking of a dark metallic green with some airbrushed cafe'ish racing checkers on top or side.

Welcome mate. Thats alot of fire extinguishers!
Diggn the GPZ's!. Yeah mate dont mind the cafe racer style myself. Just a thought, If you ever wanted to change the rear on the Kwaka and get rid of the brick style tail light, chuck a couple of these under the original tail http://ausfr.com.au/cart/shopexd.asp?id=135

Welcome aboard mate.
Here's a shot of my geep turbo, with just a coupla mods to the front, rear, and just about everywhere else.:D
Out to 810, stage 2 turbo, presently runs around 18psi on the street.
I'll change the exhaust one day, it is too long,[and a bit shit!] but for now, I'm just riding it, had enough spanners for a while:)
