my 4 week build is coming along nicely. I have finished my subframe, fixed my tank, mounted the r1 tail and seat, 750 engine is up and running and realised that i enjoy building the bike as much as riding them! how good does it feel, 12 oclock at night to sit in that old chair, pop open a beer, light a smoke and just sit and look as your machine takes shape

This is it. A 97 gixer with 98 750 engine, r1 race glass and seat, tossed the mx bars and went back to clip ons, soon to have lots more stuff :D

dunno why - but white wheels look cool...

btw how big is that fricken sprocket?

lol, 60t. It was my stunter till i blew the 600 and decided to 750 it and tidy it up. Going back to a 46t :D

what about shortening it slightly? since you are just using it as a single seater any way??

Good call, too many guys are going waaaayyy too long with the tail.

But hey, thats just my opinion, I guess some guys might like a long one to sit on...lol[:p]

sorry i didn't mean to start anything, i think i like mspaint far to much :D
i think you should shorten it while you still have he chance, and before you start to paint it fully :D
