Mine was purely cost factor... not everyone is earning a 6 figure wage ;) but there was a slight decision factor on not enough riding for the expenditure... full days riding makes it all worth while instead of running back home in rain lol...

I think the Pemberton pub/hotel would be a goer. They get a good crowd there and they do a decent feed, it might not be the cheapest but it's only a night eh [:o)]

The Nannup pub is good although if you don't like spooks don't stay in the rooms upstairs. If you don't believe me stay there yourself and tell me i'm wrong ;) Bags staying in the rooms downstairs they might be shit but you won't be woken up by the footsteps and shenanigans.

There are numerous ways to and from Nannup some good tracks but not real good condition. If you go via Donnybrook there is a road about 3kms south of Kirup across to the vasse highway.
Theres always the rum from Nannup to Bridgetown following the Blackwood river as well and then back up the highway.
