Gday guys,
Firstly awesome forum, some great builds. I've picked up a lot from looking through the threads over the last few months and couldn't wait to start on my own project.

My old man had one of the first 900rr's and i thought it was the greatest thing on earth back then. So thats what i've gone back to for my first attempt at a streetfighter.

Here's where im at.
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/17002108441253.jpg

Kinda stuck on the tail. I put a 03' 600rr tail on it, but i thought it still looked pretty bulky. Im after a seat that will take a pillion sometimes. I'm even thinking about running a single seat like some of the guys do, and then having a bolt on pillion section.. Dunno, just needs to be small i reckon.
If anyones got any advice on possible options that'd be cool. I can post more pics if it helps.

Thanks for the welcome.:)
Heres a few pics of the transformation. I'll post some more in 'my ride' when i get moving on the tail. I think i might look at building a higher, more compact steel subframe and very basic fibreglass tail. Something like the German style. We'll see what happens..;)

Just needs a tail light and indicators.

G'Day M8 , Im sure you will make your way through the site quite easily , I have often wondered what the twin headlight would look like on the blade , and I have to say its not to bad at all , as far as the tail for your scooter if you are not a fan of the styling of Boxer then perhaps have a look at Franks ( FighterMc ) he was the one that inspired my build not with this one but the bike he built before and this one is even better :Dhttp://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4751&whichpage=1
The 06 , 07 Gixxer 1000 is a pretty compact and tidy unit with a pillion
