Just refreshing Jarrods thread about the boys getting down to a street meet soon.

The weather this week is great, i'd love to get down this Wednesday (27 degreees) because who know's what's coming ?

Jarrod is keen.
Hagarr is keen but just needs to get his ducks in a row.
Morry is keen.
Bullfrog is a fucking addict so he'll be keen.
Billywhizz's bike aint goin anywhere :(

I am keen to give the turbo bike it's first run down the strip and I can promise you, it will be enter-fucking-taining.

So I vote for this wednesday.

Sounds OK although will depend on parts turning up ex east for a job in Exmouth. If they turn up Tomorrow I will have to go Wednesday so I'll keep you posted.If they turn up Wednesday I'll go Thursday I think you get the picture.

Scotty, the racing starts at 6pm. Gates open about 5pm I think.

At the moment I dont think it matters much if you arrive a bit late though. My young bloke raced last night and there was hardly anyone there. Wednesdays are a bit more popular than the mondays tho.

mate I'm out of bike riding for the next coupla weeks at least - got some fukn chest infection [xx(] that is keeping me out of action completely - take 2 steps and just about pass out due to lack of wind

Okay, Due to Rock Hard's new motor being ready to install tonight and the fact that only Jarrod can confirm tonight.
I'm going to commit to NEXT wednesday which is the 14th May pending weather.
That might give Hyo and Hagarr a chance to get their shit together.

FARK YEAH. I love Drag racing!!![:p] I just clock my fastest time and my quickest reaction time, and my fastest speed tonight. Just pulled an 11.oo @ 119mph (198.15km) with a 0.008 reaction. Missed the reaction time prize by 0.003.
Lee did awesome first his first time out and ran next to me with a 11.62 @ 187km/hr. he was pretty stoked too.[8D]

Jeremy, good meeting ya mate. I stayed until the last run and got 16 runs in. My best was the last run without the bottle at 11.334 @192.6 thats with the pro lights. :)

Did you end up getting the bottle sorted in the end? Good to see the bike in the skin:D

Sound funny,definitly up for it! but how does it work? Where?When? How much? Is it gonna be painful? what do I need to take care of?
Anybody to make me a quick summary of drag?
I would love to see what the Vmax is capable of....

The Motorplex is in Anketell rd, Kwinanna. All you need is a roadworthy bike, decent riding gear (with all the little stickers attached) and $40.
When you get there just siddle up to someone and start asking questions. All the regular guys are more than willing to offer advice.
It's good fun so long as you arent there to break any landspeed records.

Yeah the heater got sorted with the connector but I forgot that I had the power for the switch coming from the lights and I had switched those off to save the juice cause the heater draws alot...uh duh. Got about 12-14 passes with that bottle in total, about 6 last night.

Then you go to the scrutineering shed, fill out the paperwork and have the bike and your gear checked over.
Racing starts at 6.
I wont get there till late but will be there at some time.
