Very nice Devo,

ignore the others, they're just jealous (hope you didn't tell any of them where it is, dodgy bastards they all is (not that I would say such a thing of course))

Yeah thanks Fatty ;) this is my new toy, Period 5 race bike with a different saddle ofcourse it's what the engine has that counts and the chassis and handling are siuted to the track so not much to do to it for the race track.
Guess I need some more ASF stickers ay :D

So you gonna save weight and take those Kenworth rear blinkers off? S'pose it's a bit hard, seeing the whole blinker assembly is part of the rear 'glass...............
Something different Devo, good to see. I always liked the GS1000 motor. What's happening inside this particular example? That tank is certainly close to a Gixxer K/L/M WN shape, so I guess they made the 'glass in the late 80's or early 90's?
I've never seen one before...............

Hey Benz how would ya be :D I am gonna replace the rear with a single saddle for a race bike I am gonna use it for P5 racing.
So I can race the Island Classic next year . Just wanna be on the same Grid as Phillis , Gardner and Campbell. It would be a buzz.
I must give ya a bell and give you a burning ear ;)

so is it road registerable???

agree about not being a fan of the plastics, but as a fighter base that'd be AWESOME!!!

It is registerable in QLD and here I am sure it is as the bike is over 20 years old via compliance and the price well lets just say it was to good to pass up ( i done a deal with the Devil);)

Nothing wrong with those plastice Fimp, you just have to be mature (OK then, read old) enough to appreciate them.

My personal opinion is that it's a Thing Of Beauty. It's certainly nowhere near original so I wouldn't think it was super-collectable so the possibilities are endless -
Take the fairings off & Streetfighter it - Trick frame = [:p]
Restore it to 100% origy didge & put it in the loungeroom.
Turn it into a Forgotten Era Racebike [8D]
Maybe a trick Cafe Racer?

All you need to do is fix up from the seat back.
It looks like it's got a droopy arse.

Shorten the fairing or remove it so you can see more of that excellent frame.

I know that bike.
I bought a GS roller & some other bits off the bloke up here in Brissy a couple of years ago & it was for sale then.
He was trying to tell me that the engine was 1300CC but i was i bit unbelieving at the time.
He also had a pristine red & white GS1000s that i would have bought in a heart beat.
Nice buying if you got it at the right price, he wanted WAY too much for it when i saw it.
