Okay, so we will have the ASF banner we used at last years MAD ride.

The weather is for early showers, then clearing.
You can enter on the day.
For ASF guys, it should cost only $10 but needs to be cash.

Can we get some names of people who are going to show their bikes ?
As with MAD last year, it doesnt have to be a show bike, a work in progress is just as good if you ask me.

I may bring both bikes on the trailer and anyone who's seen my 1000 will know it's far from fancy at the moment.
I'd love to see Hagarr (the bike) and the Slingshot as well down there.
If you want a bike stand or anything taken up there, I can help.
IF you get it to me at work in Malaga or my house in Thornlie, I'll bring it up there for you.

Abel, didn't you say you had a marquee of some type ?

I will as always be there as I am keen to get things happening

[u]Catagories from the organiser...</u>

"It is advertised as a japanese show , shine & ride day

we have decided to put a peoples choice award up for grabs for those that take the effort to enter their bike

we will let the general public decide what they think a nice bike is to them and that will be the final decision, no ifs or butts"

Basically it is an open show so long as the bike is a jappa,
there are no sub catagories ie. fighter, chop, lowrider, paint blah blah blah BUT it is a chance to show all of our bikes in whatever form
and of course get the banner up to attract more people to the cause

GET YA NAMES UP

Abel, no marquee's allowed apparently. Whiteman park dont want us poking holes in anything important.
I just need to be able to hang the banner so we cna all congregate around it.

Who else is showing their bikes ?
At the moment, we have three, which is not so good.
Doesnt matter if it's rough and a work in progress, bring it along and talk to interested people about what we do.

Hagarr ??
Munter ??
Watto ??

Don't leave us hangin'

I'll maybe bring my 1000 along as well as the old oil boiler.
The thou is pretty rough but I might do a mock up of my new headlight set up and also call it a work in progress.
The oil boiler is good to go though.

Registration opens about 9.15am I believe. I'll aim to be there by then.
Don;t forget, if anyone wants any gear carried up there, either take it to my place in Thornlie or Billywhizz's in huntingdale or my work in Malaga.

I'm back to a maybe..... This has definitely got the smell of a pretty lame day out.
If I've got nothing better to do and I'm not too hungover I might make it.

Apart from a dirty old Zed taking the trophy.

One more trophy for the grey hairdryer to add to Phils collection... Top effort mate.

Maybe the fact that the Z club took centre stage being organiser owned a z1000 meant a Z had to win;)

was great to see Phils bike pick up runners up though...

Nope,
Twas the Patriots Memorial ride Armadale to Garden island... the 160K way

It was a got day for the organisers first try at it. 5 bikes on show was a good showing for WASF with lots of questions beings asked of us and a good bit of intrest in the whole idea of streetfightering.
