picked it up today 1998 tl1000s with remus cans clean as a whisttle, god its good fun on a twin!!

Not a huge fan of twins but that would be my choice too
over the TLR/SP/Muell's etc.

What do the Remus can's sound like ? Any good ?
How many K's?

First thing is first. Get rid of the pooper scooper off the back wheel. I think you may have found the only TL in Australia that still has it on ! haha.

You made the right choice.

cheers lads yeah thing is awesome!! TN the cans are sweet they definately sing but they dont give you the shits at cruising speed (well not yet!) the bike has done 40K's which is about 4k a year but has full service history with a fanatic of an ex owner. its that clean that i it were not for the few day to day wear marks you would think it was resprayed etc. the mostly toured on it island etc hence the pooper scoop!!

ddefinately stu it will be there.

slingy is it right the k1/k2 chain guards fit straight on so i can remove the shit scoop

Its original alright still has the factory indicators, through on some six piston calipers while your picking up the chain guard at the wreckers.

Mate i cant confirm that sorry. Mine had a hugger when i bought it.

Get a nice hesa lasercut one off Stu. They are pretty cheap and look shitloads better than plastic.

In the mean time i would get out the hacksaw and dremel. The stocker comes up alright if your careful.

I recommend painting the rims black. It transforms the bike i think and makes the red really pop. Here is an example(taken off TLZONE, hope you dont mind mate) This is what can be done over time.
