Hey guys i have a mate thats has been toying with the idea of making some stands that will be cheap and easy to use here are some pics of what we have so far and yes we still have to add handles these are just prototypes.So i was just wondering on how much interest these might stir up we are thinking to cover costs around the $120 each maybe cheaper let me know what you think

Sorry to piss on anyones fireworks here but I got a set of these from ebay uk and if you contact them they will post and they are just up the road from me aswell.

They support my gixxer1216 plus my fat arse jumping about on it

I reckon $99.00 or less would be considered cheap (also gotta consider postage costs tho} If i could get front and rear delivered for $200.00 or less ill buy them. Also if you can keep the rear tyre as close to the ground as possible (say 20mm) you will keep the turbo boys happy too.

Hey rod,

how do you go lifting the grab bar off the ground when lowering bike off stand? Maybe consider putting a grab handle or giving that bar a slight bended section for ease of lifting.

These are stainless units yeah? Have you thought of making them in Mild Steel and having them painted or Gal + powdercoated? This would be cheaper and more competitive. I was in Metro spares at Silverwater(NSW)today and they had stands for $99 each.

Yeah good mate, just about over being pissed at myself for not being able to afford to attend AFR. Missed out on a great trip by all accounts... Lets hope a new career change in 08 helps me save money for next year hey...

I recon $120 is a fair price if they're gonna be made from stainless, let us know when they go into production cause I need one now I don't have a center stand,
