The Story Bridge bike show is one of the better bike shows in QLD in my opinion. Im keen to help if ASF is there.

Gaz, yea mate, same as last year. I'll ride the bike up and the ute will follow. Get up there for around 7:30-8:00 I guess. Might even get the same spot as last year?

The only one ive missed in about the the last 10 years was last year, every year they have had a dyno. Dont tell me there wasnt one there last year? It would be good if there was one there this year.
The guy who had the dyno sold it I beleive. Was on ebay a while ago.

There was no Dyno last year. The guy that owned that one was the guy in Nerang (Rory I think) and he sold it.

OK Lads, as mentioned in the other topic, do I have any takers for showing their bikes at the ASF stand at Story Bridge next Sunday? Bike doesn't have to be Trailer Queen material, just modified to any level of progress with the outlook of making a Streetfighter. Who's in?

I'd love to mate but I'll have the gear, the bike and my little helpers to get home so won't be able to.
We usually get out of there around 2-3pm so you could start early considering it's a Sunday and all?

Bugly-King is still Stock-Standard, sad thing is it gets more
attention, Probabley due to "look at the Ugly Fack'in Thing"

Not sure mate. We had about 5 bikes last year without any warnings or complaints so I guess that amount will be good. Bring one along anyway mate and we'll see what happens.

something happened on the dyno.
the bike seems to cut out under load...it gets worse as it gets hotter.
the microsquirt keeps resetting. ill have a look at it in the morning

Had a good mix on the ASF stand,
Naked Busa, Turbo Busa, Naked GSXR11, Tuff Z900,
Fuel injected Z650, Nice custom TRX850, Also ended up
with a Bandit 12 and an Intercooled Turbo Yamaha Warrior.
Weather was a bit cool at 7.30am.
(although Si wouldn't know about that...;)...)
Food was the expected rip-off but I still gave in.
Interesting mix of Bikes and People. Very glad I went.

great show worth the effort to get down to Brissy for it.
i will have to get serious on one of the bikes and get it down there next year......Hmmm ideas ideas thinking thinking...damn it ..just bought another bike, oh well i will have to find some more cash from somewhere, spose i do have a year to get something together

Was a great day, i couldnt fuckin belive the crowd. Sunny winter QLD at its best i reckon. It was good to meet a few new people dcridedays and turbowarrior are top blokes. Ive gotta say i was really fuckin impressed with turbowarriors turbo warrior, good onya mate i love it and the attitude of the bike. It made my turbo Busa seem kinda tame. I think i have a couple of new ideas for the future thanks to you. Anyway had a good day, rode up with an empty backpack came home with an extra 100kg of stuff.

Cheers for everyone that helped out as alawys and thanks for bringing the bikes along. Good to see Shaun and his chooper crew next to us as well, even though he fancied the copper that hung around our stand for some reason.
As for Turbo warrior, if you read this mate, tell me what the fuck it said on that piece of paper you went "TA DA!" to the copper with. We want to know mate, that paper is gold!

Glad I got his number. He was a bit of a bell but by playing his game for a while I discovered that he had no idea about the laws he was enforcing, plus he admitted what he would let go and how to do it plus we discovered there is a way around getting away with a turbo fitted to your bike - which he didn't realise and tried to avoid talking about. What a top day! Got to meet a few of ya's and some of your rides, and i was mightely impressed. As for the cockheads in blue, i was egging him for a race on his poofter BMW but he wouldn't be in it, then he seen my front tyre and the copper came out in him and said that i should get a new one, to which i replied i'm on the case but in the meantime dont tell your other copper mates. As for the peice of paper he then started telling me that they're cracking down on modded bikes to which i said, way ahead of you officer, already engineered and certified here's the paper to prove it. Fucking once a cop always a fucking cop. He asked how i'd got it, i said as long as you stick to the ADR requirements which you can download from the net and do it neatly, then there shouldn't be a problem. He looked confused, as if to question his own laws he's supposed to be upholding. Absolutely priceless. Fuckin Dogs they are. Anyway, hope to catch up for future rides with ya's. Cheers

Dunno about making your Busa look tame, I'm sure it'd shame mine out no dramas. Would love to catch up for a ride to see it in action
