What are those woven kevlar suits like sliding on bitumen?

They're made specifically for speedway and offer great protection and fitment but I wonder whether they'd grip or slide on tarmac.
Much more comfy and cooler than leather.
Anyone in the UK know?

I've got one in the cupboard that I could use for track days.

Is that Hannon the Cannon aboard it?

It looks as though it had a cooler and fork change since that photo though: http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9699

I know Jester and have seen his GSX in action. Saw it for the 1st time last year in the pit lane at Santa Pod, it cuts quite an imposing sight ! Thats one massive turbo [:p]
Nice guy Jester, he saw my Busa being built and hes keen to see it in the flesh this year.
