Grand Champion Rat

*WARNING* Totally bike unrelated.

There was a little surprise about the fact that I breed Show Rats... So i thought i should blow my own horn a bit ;)

Yesterday i took my rats to the Sydney Royal Easter Show not expecting too much from my first year of proper pedigree breeding, but hey gotta be in it to win it [8D]

Low and behold my female down under ratty Zephyr took out Grand Champion Rat! For those of you who are unfamiliar with show awards, Grand Champion is the Holy Fucking Grail. The best animal shown on the day, safe to say i was fairly shocked, and incredibly happy.

As people have said to me, "if you're going to win a show, thats the one to win." So i would just like to say how proud i am of my all little winners especially my girl Zephyr of Merlyn's Mayhem :)

i know i dont particularly wanna go the way of felching when thinking about rats, do you know how much that would hurt... ive got scratches all over my arms just from handling all day... and we do know the dangers, even with a safe word!

In total in all classes there were around 180. with 3 major rat classes.
In total i had entered 6, im not good enough with maths to work the stats out.

Show Rats. I never thought there'd be show rats. The only people I know that breed rats feed them to snakes. Congrats though..
