Well my bike is still currently at the bike shop after a 130 ish low side on my last ride before loss of liscence.

Just making some plans to turn her into a fighter. Have found some good ideas for parts but would like to make some of my own.
Any1 with some links to how to's would be sweet.

Welcome mate. "How to" what exactly? Just ask.

Here's a few pre-made 'how to's: http://www.streetfighters.com.au/ASF_howto.asp

What do you want to do? Start with that.

Well i want to do a similar thing to my tank fairing that slamdog has done, to cover the edge of the radiator and also get some ram air happening. Also my missus doesn't want me to get rid of the pillion seat so i can't just go and make a shorty one, so maybe modify the original stock one to a different shape that will still allow pillion passengers.

Cheers!

Ok, I just created my own tail unit using HD foam. Try and source a High Density Foam supplier/user and look for some off cuts that are the size you need. HD Foam will cut with a saw and sand with sandpaper to give whatever shape you need. Once you have the shape you need you seal the Foam and use it as a mould to create your fibreglass panels. With alterations to plastic panels you can only remove (dremmel/coping saw off) bit you don't want. You can really add unless you know a master plastic welder. You're probably better off using your current plastics as a mould and then adding the shape you want and fibreglassing the whole thing new.

Start a new topic mate or do a search as I think there's something on this already somewhere. You won't get many people who know about this stuff popping into a topic called "Hi"!
