Hey guys, new from canada

And as we all know, Australia and Germany rock as far as streetfighters go, so why use a forum from anywhere but the kings of the hill? Im in mid process of turning my 929 into a streetfighter as far as i can this season. I will go full custom with a new tail and everything eventually but for now i need it rideable in the next month or two.

Its out at my machinists right now getting a VFR800 single sided swingarm installed, and ive got a sweet Konig wheel picked out. Ive got my headlight picked out from aztec8.com (6 inch dual stacked slots) and im gonna install a dirt bike bar kit from fullthrottle inc. A full custom tank will be worked on this summer while i ride with my old stunt tank on the bike, and a full custom subframe and tail will go on the bike once i get another bike to haul the lady around on or get her one for herself.

Anyways, ive browsed through this site a bit and youve got some crazy talent floating around here, so im sure my fighter will be that much better just from reading on here. See ya around guys!

Hey Mike. Good to have you aboard mate, sounds like you have some neat ideas! 929s are slowly but surely showing up more and more in the Streetfighter scene as the price drops on them. There are a few prime examples on here but the most effort I have seen on one would have to go to Torsten (Outlaw6660). Here's his bike:

He changed it again since then with a new custom headlight. He has access to heaps of parts and can fab them for you if you need. Email him direct through the forum if you want or call out in this topic.

We usually get close to 5 months of good riding weather. You can stretch it to 6 or 7 on a good year if you're willing to brave 2-5*C weather (which unfortunately for me, I am). We got over 400 cm of snow where i live so far this winter, but luckily from the local weather trends its almost over.

Man, I hate the cold. Thinkin I like bein a bit closer too the equator.
At least you'd get time to work on ya bike over the winter.
And cold tyres would encourage wheelies, always a good thing.
