would any body have a ZX7R piston that i could use for a comparison, it dosent have to be usable but i would like to match it up to another piston for size, shape and pin to top of piston hight, any help would be appricated.

Not sure if this quite what you want, I have an old ZX7RR kit piston (for use with the long rods, so the pin location has been raised) that I've sectioned with a mill to have a look at crown thickness in a couple of places. You're welcome to it if it's any use.

Brian that would be awsome if i could get it of you pm me with details and i'll pm you with the address to send it to, also do you know how much higher the pin is located in the piston.

Sorry Clive, can't help on the pin location I'm afraid. The piston owes me nothing and I don't need to make any money out of it, so just PM me your postcode and I'll get a postage cost for you.

Sent the piston off in today's mail, cost was $4 ; when I get home I'll send you a copy of the receipt and my bank account details.
