allright, you masters of all knowledge that is helpful in the world,
since superbeast is on the back burner for a bit. i picked up a 92 gsxr1100 to fighter but until then i am going to ride it on the track a bit. in a quest for better handling i am asking you...the masses, if anyone has done a current gsxr/other bike shock swaps with great success. i have access to a few different shocks now. and thru my searches has found me with a few different hiccups on different years that don't really answer my exact question, what fits?

thanks in advance, dan

sorry i haven't been around in a while but my housing project and the one US fighter site has been grabbing some of my interest. though i do lurk here to keep on the up and up. thanks

i think your best option is a cbr600 shock as i beleive it it a bolt in fit with out upsetting the geometry to much.

if you are doing a bit of track work then a k5 gix1000 i think bolts straigt in but will raise the back up a little as it is a few mm longer. this will help speed up the handling on the track.
