I've got my swinger all mounted up but hit a wall tonight with the shock .. I knew i was going to but this is the first chance i've had to measure it up .. So the problem is i need a shock thats approx 260mm between holes centres +/-10mm .. Ill be making a new top shocker mount to suit so im not too worried about the lenght .. So does anyone know a shock thats about that lenght ?? A fancy as fuck one with all the bells and whistles would be nice too .. :)

I have Koni's on my Kat, I believe they are now called Ikon, I had a look at the website and there are all manner of shocks there, you might find something there... dunno about single shocks though...

Nice link Deano - looks like your best bet is a 2000 + Blade shock (286MM).

Hillsy pick the one .. 2000+ blade .. it has 57mm stroke whereas my GSXR had 67mm ... would that matter much?

All things being equal - less travel in the shock means less travel at the swingarm. Of course, this may also be affected by your linkage / dogbone set-up.
Tough call without seeing it, but I'd be thinking it probably won't matter.
