I'm new to streetfighters and wish to rebuild my RS 955,after ahigh speed mishap with a tree,and I don't really know where to start.it would be great to get some ideas and suggestions on how to start this project and which direction to go[?]

not at the moment but the bike is basicly straight with cosmetic damage only.i will get some photos together by next week

welcome to the madness mate.

firstly i reckon strip the broken bits and fairing bits etc off and see what your left with. hock the bits off that you dont need to fund the bits you need. mostly tho you need some basics of what you want ie mx bars, arse end swap etc. sometimes the level of sustained damage will dictate what your going to do!!

Welcome to the site Paddo - I was eyeballing an RS prior to getting my ZX9. Nice fighter potential I reckon ;)

Don't know much about the Trumpy's apart from having met a bloke who recently repaired a crashed Daytona back to original. He said it was a PITA getting little stock bits (like nuts and bolts) because most of the time they were Triumph specific - and no local dealers held stock so they had to be ordered from the UK :(

But if you're ripping stuff off it, you should be OK :D

yeah its already black and its good color for background.hey SICKBOY do you know if an ST single sided swingarm will slot straight in or is there alot of fuking around? p.s the tree was doin about 140k

I'm fairly sure the ST and RS share the same frame ,in fact there were a few RS's that came out with single swinger's so it shouldnt be to much of problem.
