Nick dropped down his CBR & said he loves the bike but his 55 yr old body can't handle the riding position, he also said he likes the bodywork & paint on Stu's(Vipers) blade.
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/104617535893129.jpg

So we set about stripping it down to it's bare essentials....
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/104617535899363.jpg

Then we powdercoated the swingarm, linkage, rearsets, & lower triple clamp to match the frame colour.
We also anodised the forks Black.
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/104617535898885.jpg

Then we also decided to add one of Deano's clutch cover inserts.
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/1046175358123400.jpg

nearly done but the ugly hole in the frame needed to be sorted out...
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/1046175358102440.jpg

So we came up with these carbon side covers to tie in with the rest of the carbon on the bike, the left one covers the fuses & regulator/ rectumfier,& has a vent for airflow.....

& the right one covers the relocated radiator cap.

The pics don't do the paint any favors, it looks much better in the flesh.

Looks great Ben as usual.

I have a question for you will those wheels (carbon fiber) fit my busa, just trying to work out the fighter build.

Nice

I didn't realise the radiator on those was so big.

I think I might have to get some dimensions to see if I can use one for a little project.

Any chance it's still there and you can tell me the size ?

Thanks

They are to suit a CBR 1000RR but you could modify them to fit.
you'd have to use cbr brakes, probably wouldn't be worth it unless you can modify them yourself. RRP is $5350 but for this one this set is $3500

Hey Ben - did you run with the standard ignition switch or go remote? (I thought the Hondas had an anti-tamper ignition switch....thingy....)

EXBEN

Yeah it's got a remote. Not to tricky, just a bit extra wiring.;)

No it can't easily be done cause the cable release is on the outside on your bike.

As always Ben, sweet work mate. [:p]
The custom carbon shrouds are a standout on that bike, really well proportioned & integrated with the lines. Trick as fuck. [8D]
