Ok its a cold and breezy day to day and I was running my gixer without ram air this summer, anyhow a ram air kit come up for sale for a car, it had loads of aluminum tube and I went at it, and all I can say is holy shit what a diferance.

air induction sound and lots more bottom end power it makes a warp warp noize....

Im thinking some of feeling of the power increase maybe just the cool weather

interesting,

u could try doing woll-tuft testing to make sure the tubes are actaully getting good flow into them the way they are

i would have thought it would be better to cut them off so they faced head-on?

fuck i love the look of that bike!

even if the ram air's dont improve performance, they do suit the bike imo

I always thought that the Ram air only comes in to equasion at the top end ?????? Even so Joe i reckon it suits the bike fella [8D]

yeah it does, I would say the bike was down 10% topend without the ram air, but it does seem to have helped the power from 5000-8000 rpm

The length of the ram tubes could be making the air flow laminar increasing your charge density... or your drawing air from a high pressure zone rather then a low pressure zone due to the aerodynamics of the bike - only way to know fo shoa is to run back to back passes. :D

It deffinately looks like RAM air induction tho - you sure you're not from New Zealand? They'd think that bike is baaaad ass ;)

your ram air tubes can now consume any small animals that get in the way!
