The seller in the us reckons the boxed kit (ignition unit and pick ups) weighs in at 4lb ?? Thats like 1.8Kg....Surely to christ it aint that heavy !! ?

Now I have one that I sealed properly against the weather like they are supposed to be from the factory.
They perform much better than stock systems and are adjustable for allsorts of applications best to fit dyna coils at the same time.

Seems to be the ignition of choice on most old school bikes
just make sure your charging system is not over charging
there is some talk on the net that some newer units are failing and it may be down to over charging.
Any one here experienced these failures ? I know of only one failure on a race bike that can't really count, due to crashing etc

I had a couple of units fail because of water ingress due to not being sealed properly at the factory.
Have not experienced the over charging problem but when my charge system decided to boil the battery dry the dyna 2000 was not affected.
I think I will put an extra fuse in line just incase
