Looks like my Faired busa is sold.
I have a ride booked on one (B-King) for Wednesday.
I still think they are ugly as f*rk!!
Pipes and lights are just wrong,
(but can be fixed)
Mmmmmmmmm......
6"...200-rear, alloy frame, injected, radial brakes, USD front,
08 Busa motor, (Forged pistons) Naked bike.
I want to do more to the 02 Naked Busa,
This would make a good run-about bike.
Its a maybe.
Looks ? Never did like the Busa either...;)
Cost ? Cant take it with ya. Live now.

Was that over in Europe Jeff? How much fun was it? How would you compare it to the GSX 14?

Sat on one today, HUGE bike! Just screams BIG. Distance from indicator to indicator at the front is massive. Biggest shit is the poofy plastic over the tank - it protrudes too far down, my knees stick over the top! Can't even sit on it at all :( F@#ken Suzuki, biggest naked, smallest seating posi... :(

thats a nice pic large but it still needs to loose the headlight and that oddball blinker arrangement then it would be porn. Still i like the yoshi stamp on the exhaust

Look I'm a big fan of them and would love one to toy with. Its fugly as now but it wreaks of potential, losing those indicator units and headlight is a starts but would make a world of difference. If someone wants to buy me one then please do!

Yeah, im a skinny 6-footer and my legs fit under the stupid
sticky out tank panels, but not much to spare. A bigger guy
wouldnt be happy. Stupid!!! build a big bike that big fella's
can't fit...[}:)]
Dash is neat, few interesting bits.
Exhaust is as quiet as it is large.
Pillion seat looks usable but ruins the lines of the tail.
I've got a Black / Silver demo bike tomorrow and a Black / Black
one to bring home if I like it enough.

Err, the 'Busa test was in the States. Pretty much straight after returning from that one Jeff & Heather took off on a jaunt over to Deutschland for a 'holiday' - leaving other unfortunates behind to run the expo stand for them ya BASTID! - and received a Gay-King from Suzuki Germany for a couple of days road testing (he was supposed to be getting a new 'Busa, but they didn't have one ready - how fortunate is that!). This makes Jeff the first journo in the world to road test the beastie and you can bet your bootie that he had a full and concise write-up before his bum left the seat. It will all be going into the Xmas issue of RAPID....
I think he enjoyed it a little bit - judging from the 3AM calls I received from him going 'VROOOOOMMMM! WWWEEEEEEEEEEE!' down the 'phone at me.
