Hey there fellow riders. My name is rob, i reside in Vancouver Bc, Canada. I have just purchased my third in my life time gsxr 750. 1989. Lots of stuff done to the engine all tho not sure what yet. I used to race these awsome bikes and have fallin hard in my mid life crisis. lol, Unfortunatly i cant ride the standard crotch rocket way for to long or my old body turns to ice. So i am modifing this beast to be a streetfighter. looking foreward to seing the transition. Not sure of what i am going to do with the old tail end as i dont know if i like it. and i gotta raise the bars, this should be fun because i dont think they make a raised bar for them. lol. anyways, good to meet you all and i will be posting picks of my bike soon. Any tips and advice will go along way.

Welcome aboard Bare arse look forward to seeing it we all love seeing the before during and after pics there all mad barstards on here except me :D so yell if ya need help ;)

Welcome aboard mate and there is that much streetfighter stuff available for an 89 gsxr it's not funny so you shouldn't have any trouble sourcing parts mate good luck with the build

G'Day Barearse, I reckon old Gixxers are great bikes. SWMBO gave me the nod to 'fighter my '91 750, but then again I let her buy a Toyota so fair is fair. I'm looking forward to seeing how yours turns out!

If your pics are not too big in size (700 pixels wide is preferred) or disc space (ie under 100-150kb) you just go to "reply to this topic" (down vvv there)and click on the "If you want to upload a photo, click here"

It comes up with a browse button to let your browse your pc for the pic then "click to upload" then you "click to send picture code to forum" (or something similar)

If that doesn't work, email them to me at largeone (at) hotkey.net.au (no spaces) and I'll post em up for you
