Hi all
44 years young. I own a 96 900 Fireblade. Currently in bits due to an engine seizure. I have the engine ready and am polishing the aluminium bits all over the frame and possibly some engine parts. Depends how long I can stay off it as to how far I transform it.
I was debating whether to keep the fairing but after finding this site and seeing the bikes there is no question now which direction I need to take. That and my wrists could do with the break.
Also own a 1962 yamaha 125 BSA look alike. Restored to standard and running, bought it for $100.
After the initial breakdown of the Blade the plates found their way on to the back of the Yam for 3 mnths. I wore the full leather kit even put the knee sliders back on for added effect. First time I've ridden that long without the "Law" doing some sort of check on me. They mostly pointed and laughed as I putt putted by.
Great tip in the HOW TO about the easy off oven cleaner for stripping the anodising. Can't tell you the hours it has and will save me sanding.
see ya's like a rissole
