Hi all im a newbie here and love the tuff look about street fighters. I own a 1999 yamaha yzf r6 (fully faired) and would be interested to see what it would look like knuckle dragging street fighter style. Does anybody have pics of any?

I guess a 600 YAMAHA is a close match to a 900 honda :D

Thanks 4 the reply's. MMMM maybe i might just leave it fully faired. Does anybody know of a cheap bike (old school bike) that will be a good project for a street fighter[B)] Street fighters look wicked and I would love to own one right beside my r600:)

I dont mind it - just the colour scheme is a bit off - too much RED

I reckon there is some potential there... just needs some work...and maybe not bright red!

Trev, there's loads of old school bikes that are worthy. I'm not going to influence you as to which ones, that choice is yours. All you need to do is check the look of the frame and engine when it stripped down. If it looks shit (A bit like the R6 above) then it ain't going to look good when done. Anything else can be changed - front end - tail end - wheels etc etc. That's why the early GSXR and Firebaldes are so popular (GSXR more so because it's also oil cooled up until '92 so you don't have to worry about hiding any big water coolers and hoses or expansion chambers.
