I realise my '84 GPz turbo is now 23 years old, but surely I don't have to pay 70bux for a valve cover gasket!!:(

I found an athena gasket for 25.95, but when I went back to what I thought was the web page, I could not find it again.
The $70 valve cover gasket was from Crosways?? in Melbourne.
I can't believe this is now my only option.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

Being a GPZ owner myself i can relate...

If your not planning on mining about under the valve cover your best bet is to pay the money and buy the genuine article
GPZ love leaking oil out of the top gasket and i myself tried cheaper ones but they didnt work...

Have a look here, dont try and call them on SAt as they dont open on the weekends. I have just got a clutch cover gasket from them $15

Yes Evad, that's more like it. It's only a piece of paper FFS.

Yeah , Yeah, cutcat It would certainly be a bastard of a scissors job, so I'm happy to pay a fair price.
But not 70.00 plus freight, could end up costing 90.00 by the time it arrives in never never land.
BK Enterprises look good, might use them again some time, their price is 36.53 delivered.

The gasket arrived today,[delivered to my door] and it's one of the thick ones, not the crap thin one that was used when the motor was rebuilt. Burt gets the thumbs upin my book.
