tips on changing forkseals?

gday gents and ladies,

just wondering if anyone has some tips or tricks when changing USD fork seals?

forks are off the bike already.

dont take the forks off untill you've undone the top cap. :)
you'll find a big allen head bolt up inside the bottom of the forks that may need a rattle gun to loosen...unless the forks are on the bike and you can use a breaker bar.
once you've undone this bolt the whole slider/yoke bit will come out.
cant remember how i removed the seal, but i found the leg of a cheap plastic barbeque table fitted perfectly over the fork leg and allowed me to tap in the new seal (using the old seal-cut it first so it can be removed)
the first one will probably take you a while to work out, the second one will take 5 minutes

(this is for a 90s version gsxr750 fork)

thanks mate, done em yesterday, took about 2hrs to do the job, was easier then i was expecting.
