Hey Guy`s,
it`s a very nice side, lot`s of info! I love it!
Till now I used to use the German SFsite for inspiration and off course the World wide web, but is good to see the Fightersene growing here in Oz as well! Unfortunately I am still at least a year away from finishing my bike, but it is good to have a reginal forum know for help and questions!
Cheers Klaus!

Hi damo,
I tried to put pic`s in, but so far no luck. Will see if I can find here a thread wich explaines how to do it!
I tried to drag and drop it in, but that does not work and I tried with photobucket, but I only used it ones, and could not remember how to do it. I will try later again!
The bike is a CBR1000F, what I did so far is to change the subframe, startet polishing the backweel bought a other seatcowl/ducktail and fit it on (I still did not find out what the right name is seatcowl or ducktail)organised a double headlight and a Bellypan! Have my frame in the moment for welding at work and will start now to prepaire the motor for spraying!

So, it is still a lot of work to be done! That`s one reason for not putting any pic`s or threads in till now!

Hey Klaus, good to see another bloke having a go at a CBR1000F. There's two more projects on here from them. Phill will be interested I reckon.
Welcome aboard mate.

thanks for your nice response guy`s and Mrchesse
I might come back to your offer when the engine goes back into the frame again!
I think the mainreason for getting something like a CBR1000F, my one is from 87, is you can get them cheap! Compare to Blade`s, ZXR, or a Gixxer! And another think is you do not see them quiet as often! But I also have to admit, that the Frame does not look as nice as a Gixxer or Blade frame!
I saw a few nice CBR1000F`s on the german site and also on the Netherlends Streetfighter site, you can make something nice out of it! Will see what I can manage!
This one per example I like

but he is also not finished yet, and in Europe the summer is over and the Guy`s getting busy again!

Ok, have never really gone down the Streetfighter Ave. But I did own a CBR1000F '87 for about 13 yrs & 160,000 Klm's.
I loved that bike[8D]. Traded it in on the ZRX 1200R I now own:D
The biggest prob I see, is most of early CBR 1000F have now done BIG mileage!
But you just gave me an idea for a dragbike, with sponsorship:D.
(In the IMMORTAL words of Gun's & Rose's) TO THE BAR ...

Ps Phill, the graphic's look very Kawasaki like.;)

Hi Phill,
I live in Sydney near Campbelltown. Ja well, the CBR with the RR ducktail will defenitely look better then my one when ones finished, but on the other hand I build me myself a Lowbudget Fighter! I just could not afford at the moment to spend so much money for it.
I just got my frame home from welding now and I will start this week to spray the frame and get it ready for the engineer. And then when I get his go ahead I think about to get the frame for powdercoating!
By the way Zrex I had the same year CBR in Germany many years ago,
and it was a very comfortable Bike and also not a slow one to that time my fastest speed according to the clock was 290km/h on the Autobahn ( a lot of part`s from the Autobahn to that time had no speedlimits)! And it must been at least more than 250km/h, because my Brother and me loved it to chase Bemm`s and Merc`s. It was real fun!

Phill here another pic`s from CBR`s! For ideas!
