My new toy. Bike was built by (I think!) Lee Munro about 8 or so years ago was featured in STREETFIGHTERS issue 32 (I think!,don't have the issue). Not my first fighter I had a stripped FZR EXUP (YZF 750 f/end,Frank's racing billet top clamp/renthals,polished frame/swingarm&wheels). Has FZR wheels,GSXR forks/Frank's Racing adjustable billet clamps & rear ride height adjuster, custom braced GSXR swingarm ect. Cheers Mike.

Welcome aboard !!! I remember that bike from when Lee built it. He rode it around for ages. We went on a couple of rides as a group back then and he rode it hard, thats for sure. I remember it doing sub 10s at the drags too and that was with the carbs missing in the midrange. I think he eventually put a Dynojet kit in thoes carbs, to sort out that mid range fluffyness. Lee was a member of the Cafe Racer club at the time (as was I) and I remember him dabbling in road racing for a short while too (but not on the EFE) He didnt do too badly racing either. I dont know what ever happened to him though. I lost contact with alot of people when I had a big break from racing. The EFs are a bullet proof motor, as your probably well aware. I have an EF as my cruiser and slog roadie. Its been totaly reliable for years. Ive also got a bog stock original full fairing EFF in my colection. That ones pretty well imaculate. Hope to catch up with you one day.
Cheers, Whitey (Adelaide member)

Yeah I bumped into Lee a few times on Loby/Strath runs so knew how hard it runs! Last time he was on an R6 and heading to NSW to race a VTR in thunder twins(?) many moons ago.I bought it to stop myself going race pace on my GSXR 600 through the hills! I ran my 600 at AIR street meets best time was 11.9 (stock) and I'm not exactly waif like as Lee!I have outgrown it over the last few years so it's good to be able to fit on the EFE! Apart from a few cosmetic faults and some wear and tear the bike is very in solid condition so plans are just to tidy it up and ride it. Cheers Mike.
