Hi boyz and girls...

This is Diego AKA Urbandrag...
Well, I had knowledge of this forum via the SF Mag, but yesterday I had a conversation via messenger with Evad (z650 EFI) and he showed me some cool pics and prjects of some members... So decided to register...
Well, I've been looking, and I found some members I know from other forums...
Basically, I'm from Argentina, 32, married, one evil little daughter, I'm an electronic technician but I've been working as electrical maintenance technician since ever... So, I remember a couple of electronic laws, not too much... I even forgot how to use the soldering iron!... lol
Currently, I have two projects in the go...
My money pit, a nitrous ZZR1109 dragbike... My plan was to make a fighter with this but it ended looking like an american style dragbike. Long, low and slow...
As I always say, I don't remember when I started with this project, I remember I started with a jet kit and exhaust system... The only thing I know I will never finish it!... I always find something new to buy or to modify... Indeed, I haven't sprayed it yet...
Here are the specs:

Model:

Kawasaki ZX11 1991

Engine:

1109cc Wiseco forged pistons, Cometic gaskets, Keihin FCR 41mm carbs with velocity stacks, V&H SS-1R exhaust system without muffler and chromed, Barnett heavy duty clutch springs and friction plates, MRE Lock up clutch, custom made S/S braidied hoses for lubrication system, APE manual cam chain tensioner, custom made air shifter, Dyna 200 ignition system, Dyna coils, Taylor spark plug leads, CR9EK sprak plugs, spike bolts in engine covers, Schnitz Racing nitrous progressive controller, NOS nitrous injection kit (2 kits, 1 street –Current-, 1 Promod), Muzzys adjustable cam sprockets (To be installed), Carrillo rods (To be installed)

Frame:

Stock, painted in red, polished rearsets, aftermarket footpeg (Anodized in blue), polished rear grab rail.

Front end:

-2" Schnitz racing lowering blocks, Stock forks, brake rotors, and whell, ZX7 handlebars, SS brake line kit, GSXR1K 6 pots brake calipers, chromed axle, polished triple tree.

Rear end:

Stock wheel, chromed axle, stretched swingarm using welded Superbike Mike +8” extension blocks, ZZR600 dogbones, Sprocket Specialists alluminum rear sprokect (49T), 16T front sprocket, rear brake... HEY WHERE IS MY REAR BRAKE?...

Bodywork:

Stock, painted blue, removed lower side panels, part of the front turn signals were shaved, removed headlight and brake light, , Keyless Vortex gas cap, custom made undertray, unknow front fender, Lockhart Phillips trick kit, Lockhart Phillips dark smoked windscreen, spike bolts kit for the windscreen, chromed radiator covers, ghetto mirrors block off plates.

Electrics, electronics, and gauges:

Modified wiring, 52mm fuel pressure (Nitrous kit), A/F gauge, and oil pressure gauge (Autometer Pro Comp Ultra Lite serie), Autometer gauge cups, Custom made dashboard, Industrial spec water temperature indicator/ cooling fan controller stolen from my last job, ‘Fighter jet’ style switches with Leds as activation indicators for nitrous and air shifter activation (Horn button activates the shifting, Start button activates the nitrous system), Veypor VR2 digitalperformance analyzer, PSP Keyless ignition because I lost the key...

My other project, almost started, involves a KZ750E frame, 750 turbo motor, ZX11 rear and front ends. It should be look like a proper fighter...
I just started modifying the front end. I bought a set of custom steering stem bearing from All Ball Racing to install the front end with minor mods and worries in the KZ frame. I need to machine a little the stem in order to fit the upper bearing.
Regarding the frame, my idea is to strength some weak points 'a la Tony Foale'...
I have not big plans for the motor, maybe the most important mod is to fit an MS ECU (This is how I met Evad).

Well, this shite is getting longer...
You can see some pics of my rides at bikepics: www.bikepics.com/members/urbandrag/

I hope to make some good friends, and to enjoy this forum... I know I will, but sometimes I have no enough time to spend surfing around in all forums I belong... Work, baby, projects, wife, sleep... You know... 24hs are not enough!...

Adios amigos. Catch you all later!...

Benz,
Evad sent me a link to your 750's post!... MAN!... I'm still drooling!...Yeah urbandrag, I would be too if the headgasket didn't leak oil under boost all the fucken time.:(
Looks like another teardown, oring the thing, or just turn the boost down........ :(..sure!!
I guess the stock gasket is not good enough for 18psi...leaks from the middle front, apparently this is a common problem with old z motors. Bigger head studs, oringing, and a copper head gasket is the fix, I'm told
Thanks for the comments:)
