Okay, I'm about a click away from ordering a KBC VR2 helmet, but I'd like to hear comments from any of you guys who have used, or own one.
It will be about 400 ozzies to get it to outer Mongolia[or Darwin, same thing....] the helmet 369 postage 25 approx.
Does anybody know of a better price????

His ears hurt from what?? Noise?, or the tightness of the lid?
I really want a quietish helmet, sick to death of windnoise...[}:)], and earplugs......
I'll be buying locally [in OZ that is], online store, already used the local bike shop/ripoff centre to get the sizing right. Nearly double the price there......:(

I have KBC VR2 Legend 2006 Blue good deal from Morwell Kawasaki (Glenn Middlemiss - 03 5133 8060) comfy, have normal size ears, and a bit noisy at speed but I only have a teapot so that doesnt worry me too much. :D

I would have bought the black /white/ grey Dragon, but something that is quiet is high on the wish list,so f**k that!!! The next real option is an XR1000 but heaps more bucks, what about OGK?
Anything would have to be better than the worn out bucket I presently throw on my head....

So after much fucking around, I've ordered this from Helmet Town in Yankeeville. Talk about changing directions.......[:o)]
Thanks for the comments guys, and for the link Suzi freak, helped me track down this baby, even cheaper here than where you sent me!!
Always wanted a Bell back in the "good 'ol days", [when I rode an RD350, and had about 5 bucks in my pocket] now they are cheaper than the Aria's and Shoei's I used to wear, when they were at the cheap end of the market.
Yes that was in the seventies[:0]
Helmet 240, insurance 8.00, postage 65AU.approx
Hope it fits:)

Helmet town ended up sending me this version, after telling me the model I was looking for was out of stock, and no more available until October.
It's a good helmet that fits well, and is not too noisy.Same price as the reactor helmet.
I will be fitting stereo speaker pads, and trying to make an anti wind noise active circuit board, and microphones fit in there somewhere too.:)
