Guys - just received this press release from the organisers of the ACBC to be held @ each of the 3 M/C Expo's this year...

'The title of Australian Custom Bike Champion (ACBC) is one earned through a labour of love and a passion for creating the very best on two-wheels.

The national competition will be a highlight of the industry’s three major motorcycling showcase events, the Australian Motorcycle Expo Brisbane and Melbourne, and the Sydney Motorcycle Show.

As well as the state titles, up for grabs in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, entrants are vying for the ultimate prize. And it just got better.

Event organisers Exhibition and Trade Fairs (ETF) are proud to welcome leading industry publication Rapid Bikes to the 2007 ACBC as supporting sponsor of the Sports Performance division.

Rapid Bikes will present the division’s national champion with a prize of $1000, making the incentive to enter even greater for bike builders nation-wide. There is also $1000 up for grabs for the winner of the Chopper/Cruiser category.
(On top of the prize money mentioned above AuSFR have also pitched in as a sponsor with a $250 cash prize for each states Sports/Performance category winner - :D)

Entries have far exceeded expectations and organisers urge bike builders wishing to compete in any or all of the state shows, in both Sports Performance and Chopper/Cruiser, to confirm their attendance as soon as possible.

The ACBC will be an official attraction at the Australian Motorcycle Expo Brisbane (September 21-23) and Melbourne (October 5-7), and the Sydney Motorcycle Show (November 2-4), with a potential audience of up to 90,000 enthusiasts.

Anyone wishing to enter or obtain more information about the ACBC, contact Cliff Stovell, 0407 464 084 or email cliff@triumphmotorcycles.com.au or for general information regarding the Australian Motorcycle Expo Brisbane/Melbourne or the Sydney Motorcycle Show are encouraged to contact Exhibition and Trade Fairs Mark Petersen 0416 048 815, or email mpetersen@etf.com.au.'

- so get your 'fighters all polished up and enter NOW!!![}:)]

Everyone who wants to come along should email the guys mentioned above ASAP - and don't worry because it's NOT as simple as Chop has made out above. For a start Judge cleaned up last year & so should not do so again this year and secondly Ben doesn't even know if he's going to enter it this year.....
Even if you don't think you stand a chance you should enter the show in your town, it's the ONLY way to ensure the unbridled charge of the STREETFIGHTER in Oz continues unabated!!!! PLUS - if you do win your state title you'll have apretty trophy to put on your mantlepiece!!
