its not classed as a streetfighter by the rta. its just a motorbike, as long as its road worthy it is fine.

Depends what you have done to it as well mate - areas they keep pinging us on are headlights (dont go those cheap acerbris dirt bike lights) fender eliminators and frame mods - shoot up some pics so we can see what you've done mate.

I dont know how the rta is in the rest of the country but they seem to be very hard here...Handle bars are were i think they will be wankers. So far the bike is in 3000 bits. Started doing a full rebuild. Frame has just been sand blastered and powdercoated black as well as the calipers.Tank and seat unit have been painted gloss black. wheels are being polished as we speak. As soon as i get photos will post them. What lights are exceptable?

Hard to say usually anything with a euro marking (e mark) or a DOT mark. I'm pretty sure those twin pod style lights Stu sells from www.ausfr.com are legal. Remember - financial members get 10% off at sponsors sites ;)

dont think you front light are roadworthy, your rear fender needs to come down at least 45 degrees from your rear axle.. but thats in vic, oh and indicaters have to be a certain distance apart from one another, not sure how much though...

depending on where u go it doesnt look too bad

i tend to leave something obvious for them to pick up, makes em feel like they have done there bit (like leaving on the mini indicators, then i ride home and swap em if they want)

does it have mirrors?

i think your indicators have to be at least 245mm apart thats what i was told at my last roadworthy early this year anyway

hey guys and thanks alot for the help with the zx6r

alot of good advice. and to answer your question fimpbikes no it does not have mirrors yet, cant seem to find any decent bar end mirrors besides those billet ones that cost 200 buks for a pair, ive been told to go to tj automotive in minchinbury (sydney) to get my blue slip, apparently they are pretty cool guys and linient on rules
