Greetings all!

I am from sunny singapore and have plans to convert my stock ZX11 (D4) to a streetfighter. I cannot help noticing that the ZX11 is not usually the preferred choice for conversion. Cannot seem to find examples of converted ZX11's on the internet. Any pointers? Where do I start?

Streetfighters are close to non existence in Singapore. Oh well, thanks to the strict laws. We cannot even chew gum for goodness sake!

I am looking at a simple not too OTT conversion. In other words, convert it into a naked bike with attitude.

Something along the lines below -

Cheers all

Hi Amos. It's not a popular model to do but I have seen it done. There is one in the last edition of Streetfighters magazine (UK) if you get it?

Here's a couple anyway:

unfortunately.. i don't get the mag. i remembered them when i was in the UK studying. I do have to say, this is one sweet looking ZX11. If not too much trouble, can you scan the article on this and email me? In SG, the closest we get to 'streetfighters' are some minor lamp change and handlebars of a Super 4 (CB 400 series).

cheers mate!
Amos

I actually fancy the tail of the top one and the front of the 2nd one... might look into combining both! cannot be too loud! the transport authority dun take modifications lightly :).

cheers for the warm welcome guys! Any more ZX 11 converted pics.. lemme know, need references. BTW, with ZX11s not that popular to be made into streefighters, tougher to look for parts?

You dont have to worry about wether its harder to find parts for that model bike or not. Just find what you like and make it fit! Sometimes its easy, sometimes its not, but thats half the fun.
