Just a note to say just joined the forum, heres a pic of my current steed, I also a own a Norton frame with a Gixer 1052 engine about to be planted & a slabby that exile and cavey are mugging off.

This is me chip shop bike, 1958 Norton with a Gixer lump, pick shows it in its former life, soon to have a 130bhp 1052 lump in with rr front end, 180 rear from Gixer 1100L {sounds like a certain slabby}, powder coat the frame black and i love this bike with a passion, it was built with 2 friends and has a lot of good times and history moulded in.
I sold it once and bought it back 6 months later

Yep the bike was a bitch to ride, handling was ok {surprisin due to its length}but the carbs where a bitch to set up, many tried and failed, realistically it needed another £2k spent on it to stretch the frame, seat the carbs correctly, re align subbie and fabricate a new tank or turbo the fucker, shame but the guy who bought it loves it and is going to show it at the bulldog in August.

Bronze at best m8, but its still a shade of brown ;)BTW my calipers are definatly reder than Elton Johns sphincter, not pink or orange like some colour blink cunts might think [8D]
