what do you boys think or something else she is 5/1" tall(short arse lol) and i'll(6/1") want 2 ride it now and again till i fix mine

thanks guys but it turned out we had only1 way 2 go
went 2 the shop and mle sat on the bandit and with the wide seat and short legs
was never going 2 reach then she sat on a new sv and even tho they have the same seat height
thay have a narower seat and with the light weight (165kgs) she was a very happy girl
now we just have 2 decide if she wants a new 1 and only adds mabe a slipp on(wicth one ?) or
and 2nd hand jobby and dose a bit more 2 it
ps can any 1 tell me what yr they brought out the efi (she is sick of me bicthing about working on cv carbs)

I think you went with the right bike for a girl m8. The sv handles well n is really user friendly n they do sound the tits with a open pipe. We have a race series here called thunder bike (Will at streetfighter campains his gixer884 in it) sv rule in this series, what you can do is endless but a open can is all thats needed for the road.

thanks cavey, so you dont think they need a full system ?
we are looking at mybe a k/n and maybe a tune(power c 3 ) as well starting 2 look what they resond 2
allso what other mods work well on this bike (any bolt on 4 spots etc)
ps emily is loveing the look of the sv and cant wait till i find her the right 1
tho i might even have 2 put lower dog bones on for her hight but wont now till she gets a good ride on one

ok so now the wifew makes it harder now lol
she has just sat her arse on a hornet 600
so i have 2 her rides on both now and decide all over lol
again what do you boys think sv 650 or cb 600

Still the SV I reckon.

What style of riding and how long will she be riding per session ...etc, etc. The hornet it more comfort touring based easier riding position, whereas the SV is more head-down, clip-ons chucking it around based. The SV will have more get up and go from the torque of the twin but the hornet will be smoother and introduce her to the 4-cyclinder world as opposed to the twin. I personally don't like twins from a life-time of 4s riding, this will be here time to be influeneced either way.

ah, but the naked SV has "sit up and beg" style bars
and it also has lower footpegs than the faired version

i would still go the SV
i only put a slip-on, k&n, little tank spacers and a jet kit on mine and thats more power from an SV than u will ever need
i had a dyno graph in the dyno thread i think....

im only 5foot6 and was fine on a naked SV, one cheek off at traffic lights etc
or u could get the seat cut down a tad

thanks fimp
im still leaning towards the sv i like the looks and its so light
but i do like the 180 rear tyre of the cb but not the 16 " front
it really comes down 2 what she likes
our first born is only 3.5 weeks old so she is still nerves test rideing
tho she had her first ride on her old bike a few days ago after not ride for so long
she had a smile a foot long ......
you can take the girl away from rideing but you cant take the rideing out the girl....
bikes that is look where the other has got me lol

sv... hands down.. very versitile, so easily upgraded, and very capable machine whilst still being super forgiving.

you've seen mine in action at the track, and it isnt that slow round there.

cheers.joe.
