ok guys, after a lot of decisions and sleepless nights i have decided where to bolt the bottle. very unorthadox and highly unusual but without quite a bit of modification its the only real place i can mount it so its at the right angle. obviously the pic show it mounted with bluetac and pen tops but if i go for it then it will be a billet aluminium bracket. what do you reckon peeps?

It's shiny and it's pointing in the right direction and looks good.
I was thinking about vibes shaking the liquid up when you're drawing on it but it's probably not going to be an issue.
Spot on I reckon.

But that swingarm mate, that looks shit and simply has to go. You'd better send it to me right away ;)

I can't imagine you'd get any more vibration/movement than anywhere else on the bike really, the further back from the pivot it is the less movement anyway. Looks good mate, I'd really like to see the whole bike as well, as it looks as if it might have changed since this post: http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2797

Except you're not getting the cushioning effect of the suspension when you hit a bump..[B)] May not be a worry though (as long as you check the Blu-Tac regularly....:D)

Nice work Agemax - more pics please!!

cheers guys, not much has changed since the last thread except the nitrous being fitted and the ignition cover modified as the pic shows. did it myself, looks good when running with the polished crank bolt lit up by the blue led's
(sorry about the crap photo, i was a bit drunk![:p] )

I like the fact that you say it "looks good when running" and that we haven't seen your bike anywhere apart from in your front room. That means you don't only keep the bike in your front room, you also start it up in there. You're the man!

true mate, i do keep it in my front room cuz i got nowhere else to keep it. its not on the road at the moment till i sort out the nitrous and a few other issues but i do fire it up regularly.
scares the shit out the cat, and the neighbours haha

They're not flatslides...

Has nitrous bottle got dip tube? I hope so... not ideal positioning as it's a bit flat, but at least (with a dip tube) you'll be forcing the liquid nitrous in the right direction when accelerating! ;)
Coming together good mate!

no they are not flatslides, just standard carbs, rejetted with filters. yes it has a dip tube fitted, according to all the stuff ive read up about nitrous the ideal angle for the bottle should be 20degrees so i think it should be ok. thanks for the advice guys :D

The exhaust looks well positioned for a bottle heater .
