I was in Northern Ireland the other day to visit jack Frost at Holeshot Racing who's recently relocated from England.
I got a look at some of the gear he has laying around his workshop which is a pretty small two man show, downsized a lot from the England set up apparently.
The bike is his land speed bike which has dyno'd at 720hp and has recorded a best of 257mph.
Interestingly, the bike doesn't use anywhere near that hp to get to that speed and was sitting on the rev limiter through the traps.
He's since fitted a bigger gearbox which he says should give him another 20mph and took it back to England last weekend but the event was rained out, so he has to wait till september for another try as there's only two official land speed events per year.
He's recently changed it back to a stock length swingarm, apparently stability isn't an issue.
The headstock has been opened four degrees ( I think) to make room for the intercooler.
This bike will be for sale later this year, I didn't ask how much, but I expect it's not going to be cheap.
The car engine is a turbo busa which is pumping out about 450hp, apparently they do quite a few of these and minis as well with RWD conversions.
It was all pretty impressive.
Cheers
