:|!!! now that is awesome... there is also an awesome car on.... top gear.. that was powered by a busa motor! that thing was amazing, it almost clocked fastest lap time... and it was a kit car to, only like 30,000 GBP. not to bad considering it was beating 100,000+ GBP cars.

Turboprop, what i want to do will have a full fairing, very full fairing . i only want a 500-700hp version but i need to learn a lot and this was relatively cheap, may have to put it in a boat as its a bit bulky for bike.

the car on top gear was the westfield XTR2 standard busa engine mid mounted with the chain driving the rear diff with a split sprocket the road legel version had different headlamps and an electric(shit) reverse when tested we hit 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds in race trim on road tyres. I was involved in the design of the original prototype many problems with keeping the fuel temp down to stop vapourising.we also built one called the megabusa front mounted engine converted to shaft drive with an inline reverse gearbox 0-62mph recorded by a magazine think it was fast car was 3.2secs and was only beaten by the zcars which had twin zx10 engines.

Darryl's is a front engine, those inline reverse boxes arn't cheap ,somewhat shocked when i heard the price .

reverse gearbox made by quaiffe and westfileds own is very eazy to repair/rebuild. the westfield factory even sell reconditioned boxes. westfield had many problems with these boxes if darryl's has been upgraded it should be stampe by one of the flanges with the 1 or all of the following letters C= UPRATED CHAIN D= MODIFIED DETENT IN SELECTOR D= MODIFIED DOG ENGAGEMENT.
