these are a few pics of the chi-town mods vs rockers show. was a rainy day but still tons of fun. i took second in the vintage jap class, I thought i had it but didnt. dont get anything for second but i wasnt expecting to even get into the judging part untill the guys that ran the show all voted for me on there ballets. we went for a ride in the city and got stuck in traffic on lake shore drive then started pouring ran and then the bike started over heating and the fuel boiled in the carbs creating vapor lock and the bike leaned out and reved violently to about 10grand and could get it to shut off. thought i was going to blow a hole in the piston for sure. but saved it some how. My bike is the first three wiht the #98 on the seat. its a 1978 rd 400 with a daytona rear, highly modded 2 stroke motor and many other goodies, like my ace well speedo i just put on. enjoy. And simon i ended up buying a helmet there which is in the first pick but i just couldt fork over all that money for the tt or dunlop helmet:( http://web.mac.com/oilypipes/iWeb/Oily%20Pipes/Gallery.html link to more pics

Seems to be raining everywhere at the moment mate. My brothers girlfriend's place is under 5 feet of water in the UK and we've had a shit load over here as well.

Those helemts were steep mate, I understand you not getting one. Where did you get that Arai from in the end?
