Hi all, i've been browsing for a while and decided to join the fun. I ride an '01 Firestorm that i've relieved of bodywork and added some other stuff that you could say makes it a 'fighter. Now if I can work out how the fuck to add a photo, you can make up your own mind if it is or not.
NURSE! more beer here please, can't you see i'm working?

Your a sick fuck if you think i'm a woman! Well in your defence, I guess we've never met.
However, if you're into tall, fat, hairy men, you are a sick fuck!

Still trying to figure out how to scale down a photo so I can post it up.
I fucken hate computers sometimes! This thing can beat me at chess, but it's got nothing when we kickbox.

Not at the mo, but this weekend I should be able to get a better shot. That one was on the way to PI for the Supers this year, we stopped to pick up a guy on a VF1000 who had just gone sailing past us, only to overcook the next corner[:o)] I used that photo to play with resizing, just in case I fucked it up!

G'day & welcome Nudie, a couple of us were checking out your VTR at the Island - nice job! You've taken care of the one thing that can make or break VTR 'Fighters - the 'orrible side mounted radiators, well done. [8D]
See you at P.I. for the GP?

mate cant wait to get a decent look at her. I've got a brand new VTR1000 but she's destined to see some track duty this year and I dont trust my abilities that much :D

What radiator did you use? Whats that rear swinger?

Like I said I hope to get better pics this w'end. But the basic menu reads,
900SS front end
Brembos all round
JMC swing arm
Hyperpro rear shock
Exan under seat twin zorsts
R1 rep. single seat
ABM brake/clutch m/cs with blingy alloy reservoirs
'bars and risers from a dirt bike
Headlight unit from Quickdraw
Engine pretty stock, BMC filter and Factory jet kit
There's more to come when I can scrape the dough together, but I fookin' love it. Got 117 RWHP, not earth shattering, but it doesn't weigh that much and I clocked 1:31 around Oran Park on it first time there (hey i'm not Rob Carrall!).

Hey Nudie - welcome aboard matey. Like ZX12argh said, what radiator are you using there? Any probs clearing the front wheel? Looks mighty tidy from the pic.

Nudie

The radiator is from Hyperflow in Wollongong. They make 'em to your spec. No room for a fan behind it, but if you don't sit around in traffic, it doesn't overheat. It clears the front wheel OK, but it's as high as I can get it.

Ahh, I wondered how long it would take you to recognise your own work Ben. I bought it from Matt after his unfortunate trip to the Ox last year. I haven't done a real lot to it other than replace broken bits (and ride it. A lot!)

What r the wheels m8 r those duke aswell?

Nudie

The fairing came from a guy in Italy called Mario Narva. If you're hotting up a VTR, you'd be mad not to check out the stuff he makes, it's awesome. He also supplied the seat and exhaust system. I've still got the farings in my shed, a couple of guys on the Firestorm forum are interested in them, but I haven't pulled my finger out and worked out what the're worth.
The wheels are Marchesini.
